هدف : هدف این پژوهش شناسایی مؤلفه­‌های سواد سلامت در کاربران کتابخانه­‌های دانشگاهی (دانشگاه تهران) است.
روش: این پژوهش بر مبنای هدف از نوع کاربردی است و بر حسب روش و چگونگی به دست آوردن داده­‌های مورد نیاز، از نوع پژوهش آمیخته (کیفی-کمی) است. جامعه آماری این پژوهش در بخش کیفی افرادی هستند که در زمینه سواد سلامت سابقه مطالعه و پژوهش داشته اند و در بخش کمی کاربران (دانشجویان) کتابخانه‌­های دانشکده­ای دانشگاه تهران هستند. برای مطالعه جامعه پژوهش از پرسشنامه محقق ساخته سواد سلامت استفاده شد. پایایی ابزار با استفاده از آلفای کرونباخ بالاتر از 0/7 به دست آمد.
یافته‌ها: از میان مؤلفه‌‌های سواد سلامت در کاربران کتابخانه‌­های دانشگاهی،  مؤلفه درک اطلاعات سلامت در سطح مطلوب، و سایر مؤلفه های مورد بررسی در سطح نسبتاً مطلوب قرار دارند. بین ‏مهارت‏‌های سواد سلامت با سطح تحصیلات، دانشکده، جنسیت و سن رابطه معناداری وجود ندارد؛ اما بین درآمد و مهارت‏‌های سواد سلامت تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد.
نتیجه­‌گیری: سنجش سواد سلامت به صورت کاربردی و اعمال نتایج حاصل در این جامعه و جوامع آماری دیگر لازم و ضروری است. با به کارگیری برنامه­هایی جهت ارتقای سواد سلامت این جامعه آماری که از ارکان اصلی جامعه هستند می­توان سطح سواد سلامت جامعه را به میزان بسیار زیادی افزایش داد.
